AJAX Starter Kit “Barcelona”

AJAX starter kit “Barcelona” is suitable for securing a house on the inside. This package is equipped with the AJAX Hub 2 with support for the “Wings” protocol, so that photos taken with AJAX detectors with built-in camera can also transmit images over long distances.

There are three motion detectors with built-in camera (AJAX MotionCAM) that will send one or more photos to your mobile phone directly when motion is detected to let you know what or who is triggering the alarm.The siren ensures that the intruder is immediately deterred, and with the present KeyPad you control the system when entering.

All products work completely wireless, on supplied batteries. Only the Hub needs to be provided with power and preferably an internet connection.

A starter pack can always be extended with both indoor and outdoor detectors, remote controls and extra sirens. You will find all expansion options in the products category.

AJAX uses its own wireless signal, the Jeweller protocol with high security AES encryption in the 868 MHz band. This gives all products grade 2 certification and is much more reliable than Wi-Fi.

Thanks to the algorithm used, it detects deliberate sabotage of the wireless signal and keeps maintenance costs low. The supplied batteries can operate for up to 7 years, and the wireless signal is capable of bridging distances of up to 2 km in open space. Optionally, it is possible to extend the range with signal amplifiers such as AJAX Rex. Bridging distances is therefore no problem at all, not even for extremely large complexes.

Thanks to the included mounting brackets, also known as smart brackets, mounting is easy. Of course, all necessary screws and plugs are also included.

It is possible to register a total of 100 products on the Hub. All these products can be divided into various groups which can be switched on or off at will. This can also be set automatically on time, or opt for 24-hour monitoring for selected rooms.

The complete installation and programming is done via your mobile phone. Via the AJAX application it is possible to manage users/accounts or configure the system, add different rooms or devices and change their configuration.

Product features of the Barcelona starter kit

Hub 2: The central unit of the AJAX alarm system with more memory than the standard Hub, and support for the MotionCAM via the WINGS protocol. Suitable for wireless pairing of up to 100 products.

MotionCam: Similar to the normal MotionProtect, but with a built-in camera, which is able to show a photo of the cause on your smartphone within 9 seconds after the first motion recording.

HomeSiren: Loud siren for indoor mounting, adjustable in 3 different volumes. Maximum volume at 1 meter distance 105 db. Need more volume? Then choose for the StreetSiren, this is suitable for indoor as well as outdoor mounting.

Keypad: Control panel for the alarm system. Use this to activate or deactivate the alarm system.

Warning stickers: These stickers have a deterrent effect on undesirables. Let burglars know that a burglary attempt will be noticed immediately, and a loud siren will sound.
