The AJAX Button is nothing more than a wireless button that you can program in different ways, and then perform a certain action as soon as you press it.
Who is the AJAX Button for?
For example, you can give the button to your children when they are alone at home, or to grandma or grandpa so that they can easily let them know if something is wrong. But the button is also very useful for shopkeepers. Employees throughout the building can quickly let them know if something is going on.
Button is more than a panic button
It is also possible to use the button to execute a preset scenario. If you are using an AJAX Socket, you can set the Socket to turn on the lights, for example, by pressing the Button. Of course, several scenarios can be executed simultaneously at the push of a button. See the manual for all possibilities.
Ajax’s panic button communicates with a Hub that uses a Jeweller radio protocol, with a range of up to 1300 m. As soon as the button executes a command, you will see a green flashing light. Jeweller encrypts all transmitted data. If the signal is disturbed or jamming, the AJAX system changes the radio frequency and notifies you immediately.
Installing the Button
Scan the QR code with the AJAX application to register the button. Then you can attach it to a keychain, wear it around your neck or apply it anywhere in your home, office or shop with double-sided tape.
Press the panic button to immediately call a security company patrol and warn all users of the system of the danger.
Turn off the lights, turn on the household appliances, lower the blinds or open the gate with a single click. You’ll always have the Button at hand to help you operate things.
Example situation use Button
A detached house. The sound of broken glass and unknown voices wake up the owners in the middle of the night. Instead of taking a baseball bat in their hands, they press the button so that the alarm goes off immediately and the unwanted people are deterred.
Also for shopkeepers
A thief demands that money be put in a bag. The cashier obediently opens the cash register which has a panic button. His fingers discreetly press the button to activate a silent alarm. The robber will not leave the store with cash.
The doorbell rings. A stranger insists on being let in. The children are home alone. They know not to open the door and immediately press the Button. At the same time, the AJAX system activates the siren and notifies the parents.
Small and compact
The Ajax Button is very compact and almost weightless. You can always carry it with you or mount it on any surface. The Button is equipped with protection against unintentional activation. It can operate for up to 5 years on the supplied battery. It is connected to the AJAX alarm system via the Jeweller protocol with a range of up to 1300 meters without obstacles. Please note that the presence of obstacles obstructing the signal (e.g. walls or floors) will reduce this distance.
The AJAX button is easy to carry and is resistant to dust and splashes.
